Somos America would like to invite you to a community forum at the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. All members of the Board of Supervisors have been invited to speak about the MCSO budget and we expect to hear an update after the recent rulings in the racial profiling case against Sheriff Joe Arpaio. This forum is brought to us through the help of Somos America members and the staff from the Board of Supervisors. We appreciate Supervisor Steve Gallardo for opening up a space for the community to come and ask their questions regarding the amount that is being spent by Maricopa County in the Arpaio-Melendres case, as well as upcoming compensation for victims of racial profiling. This is a free event and is open to the general public. Doors will open at 5:30pm. The forum will begin at 6pm at the BOS Auditorium located at 201 W Jefferson Street. The auditorium is just to the right of the court entrance. We look forward to seeing you there.
